If you don’t want to lead a group, but still want to serve our community, you can sign up to regularly host a group in your home and work with the leader to coordinate details.
As a New City group leader, you are committed to leading others with a specific discipleship vision and building community within a small group of other Christians.
Our group leaders pursue a genuine relationship with their students and equip them in group discussion by teaching them more about Jesus and God’s Word in a practical and relatable way.
Invite college students into your home and pour into them through community building/discipleship. As a host family, you are a “home away from home.”
As part of the welcome team, you would help us create a welcoming atmosphere for students in our gatherings, and assist with Sunday programming.

As a grade-specific small group leader, you have the opportunity to invest in the lives of our children each week in order to encourage authentic faith.
Help us welcome and engage kids by delivering the weekly message in a way that’s engaging, inspiring and age-appropriate. We need high-energy, driven leaders!
As a media team volunteer, you would control audio and visual components on Sunday mornings, as well as make sure all is running smoothly during the services.
Mentor moms are women who have raised kids and are willing to guide moms with younger kids throughout our New City Moms semester and events.
As a music director, you would assist with our week-to-week worship team scheduling.

The post-service clean-up team works together to break everything down and tidy up the church following our services, from approximately 12:45–1:15 pm.
As a member of the prayer team, you would volunteer on a regular schedule to pray for people in our community who send in prayer requests throughout the week.
As part of the pre-services team, you would work with us to set up, clean and prepare for people to arrive before services begin, from 7–8:15 am.
Registration is our first impression! As part of this team, you would welcome families with a smile, assist them with checking in their children and answer any questions.
On the security team, you would work alongside the Arizona Rangers to help maintain peace and order on Sundays, as well as at occasional special events.
Volunteer to join our worship team on Sundays! Whether you sing or play an instrument, we have different on-stage roles available.
As a two-year-old or preschool team leader, you will be the main contact in the room!
Provide a safe, fun place for two-year-olds and preschoolers to play and learn on Sunday mornings!
Help us by assisting with care-related needs on Sundays — such as interacting with individuals who need assistance or have potential mental health issues.
Help us connect with guests! The Welcome Bar is the central hub for everyone on Sundays.
As a volunteer producer, you would oversee and monitor the overall production of a Sunday service from lighting, to transitions to slides, and more.
Our student worship team uses their musical and technical gifts to draw students to the beauty and saving grace of God through song.
